How do I set up DA SmartQuest Standalone Mode on Windows?

What is Standalone Mode?

• Standalone Mode allows you to:

  ✔ Keep drive health data locally on your PC
  ✔ Generate AI-based drive health predictions using an on-device AI model
  ✔ Receive threshold-based alerts
  ✔ View AI Radar Chart insights

  Note:
  Some features available in Cloud Mode may not be supported in Standalone Mode.
  An internet connection is only required if you choose to activate your license online.

 

1. Obtain a DA SmartQuest PC License

Purchase a PC license from https://ulink-da.com/shop-pc
Once your purchase is complete, the download link for DA SmartQuest will be available:

• On the checkout page

• In your order confirmation email

• Under My Account → Orders → Order (after logging into your account)

2. Download the DA SmartQuest Application

Use the download link provided to download the installer to your PC.

3. Run the Installer

• Run the DA SmartQuest Installer (.exe).

• Click Next to begin installation.

  

•  Read the User Agreement, select I Agree, then click Next.  

• 4. (Optional) Check the box to create a desktop shortcut and click Next.

  

• The installation will complete shortly.

4. Choose Installation Mode

• When you launch DA SmartQuest for the first time, you will be prompted to choose between Cloud Mode and Standalone Mode.

• Select Standalone Mode to continue.

5. Choose License Activation Mode

• You may activate in one of two ways:

a) Online Mode

• Requires internet connection

• Sign in using the same DA SmartQuest account used for purchase

• Enter your license key when prompted

• Once activation completes → You may begin using Standalone Mode with On-Device AI

• Select Online mode and click on Proceed

6. Activate License using online mode

• Log in using the same DA SmartQuest account used to purchase your license key

• After login, you will be prompted to enter your license key
• Enter your license key and click Submit
• Once activation is successful, your Standalone installation is fully enabled

You are now ready to use DA SmartQuest Standalone Mode with AI-on-Device capabilities  no internet connection required after activation.

b) Offline Mode

• Internet is not required on the installing device. 

• Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your provided license XML

• Once activation completes, you can run Standalone Mode entirely offline
