SMART 197: Current Pending Sectors Count

Current Pending Sectors Count, also known as SMART attribute 197, reflects the current number of sectors that have shown problems when the drive last tried to read from them and are currently on probation as a result. The next time the drive tries to read from one of these probational sectors, whether the drive succeeds or fails and reallocates the sector to a spare, it will decrement Current Pending Sector Count.
