The ASUSTOR NAS Application for DA Drive Analyzer allows you to monitor the health of drives on your ASUSTOR NAS. Please allow 24 hours after installing the application for drive health predictions to populate the app.
When you first open the application, you will see the Overview page.
On the upper left corner of this page, if any of your drives have an orange (Warning) or red (Critical) dot next to them, it means the AI has predicted their impending failure, and it may be a good idea to back them frequently or replace them soon. Critical drives have a higher chance of failing than Warning drives.
On the bottom right corner of this page, you can see drives that have received Threshold-Based Alerts. Threshold-Based Alerts do not utilize AI, and they may sometimes be overly sensitive to fluctuations in drive health. However, they have the ability to suggest the specific causes of drive problems, which is something the main drive health prediction AI is not able to do at this time.
You can see more detailed information for each drive by navigating to individual drive pages using the lefthand navigation bar.
On this page, you can see drive health predictions by date for this drive.
You can also see Alerts by date for this drive -including both AI-Based Drive Health Alerts and Threshold-Based Alerts.
And drive metadata for this drive.
And other daily stats for this drive, such as temperature, if they are reported by the drive.
That's pretty much all you need to get started with the ASUSTOR NAS App for DA Drive Analyzer.
If you want to see even more details about your drives' health, including weekly health metric trends, and drive health scores broken down into 5 symptom categories (the Symptom Radar Chart feature), or if you want to set up email alerts, you can click on the DA Portal icon in the left-hand navigation bar to go to the DA Portal dashboard, where you can do all of that and more.
